Melissa Layton - Yoga Instructor

Trained and certified in the Yoga 4 Athletes discipline and YogaAway instructor training with Gary Kraftsow, Melissa teaches a Vinyassa style of class. Vinyassa blends strength and flexibility with choreographed postures that are linked together with the breath. 

Melissa did triathlons and marathons in Chicago combined with her yoga practice for 8 years, prior to joining the Vail Valley yoga community where she has been teaching flow classes for 12 years. Her classes feature creative posture sequences with gentle cueing and adjusting, culminating with meditation to quiet the mind.
