ALEX MOLDOVEANU
Alex has been practicing yoga since 1999 and teaching yoga since 2002. She received her initial teacher training certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. Since then, she has incorporated more Vinyasa flow to complement Kripalu’s Hatha style of yoga and attending trainings with Vinyasa teachers Shiva Rea and Shannon Paige Shneider. Today her style and flow revolve around the breath guiding her into deeper expressions of organic, fluid grace combined with power channeled from within. Always drawing to the midline to tap into the truest most mindful manifestations helps bring her students to this place within their own practice. |

ABBY KENNEY Certified Yoga Teacher Yandara Yoga Institute, Baja, Mexico
Certified Massage Therapist Boulder College of Massage Therapy
Colgate University, BA
Abby is a self-described "gym rat," and has always enjoyed all forms of exercise. She discovered yoga in 2000 when living in VT and quickly fell in love with the practice of Jivamukti yoga. From the start, Abby realized that yoga was not a traditional "exercise;" it was more a way of life. In 2009 she finally realized one of her dreams of becoming a yoga teacher, attending the magical and secluded Yandara Institute in Baja, Mexico. This 200 hour program emphasized self-awareness and growth, based on the belief that a yoga teacher can only inspire and be inspired through knowledge and acceptance of the self, and joy! Abby typically incorporates a flow-style yoga sequence, encouraging the body to dance and move with the breath, though every day calls for a fresh approach! Honoring the wisdom and teacher within each one of us takes the competition and ego out of this wonderful, ancient practice (i.e. it's impossible to be "bad" at yoga!). She would be honored to introduce you to the mindful beauty (and challenge) of yoga, and the body awareness that comes from inner focus. |
